Ellensburg, WA

Sarah heads to the State-Level competitions for Solo-Ensemble. She will be accompanying eight soloists and a quartet, chosen from their local regional competitions.

Madama Butterfly with Seattle Opera
Evening performances at 7:30, matinee performances at 2pm.
Seattle, WA

Jonathan rejoins Seattle Opera as the Imperial Commissioner for their production of Madama Butterfly. It is his third principal role with the company, and he is joining some fantastic singers. Whether you choose gold or silver cast, you are in for a treat! Patricia Racette and Ausrine Stundyte are our two divas.

Additionally, this will be the first-ever SIMULCAST in HD for Seattle Opera! As part of the 50th year celebration of the Seattle Center, opening night for the opera will be broadcast in the Key Arena. From what I hear, the tickets are free, and you can even drink beer while watching it! Silvia Sound Student Recital

Piano and vocal students combine for the third (?) annual Spring Recital! Everyone's been working hard to learn and memorize their pieces, and family and friends are more than welcome to attend. Sarah's piano students will also get to see the final results in the 5-Day Club practicing competition. There will be prizes!

Worship Through Music at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue
Services at 9am and 11am.
Bellevue, WA

Twice a year, First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue puts aside the traditional, preached sermon, and the music ministry leads worship through the medium of music. This spring they are performing Ola Gjeilo's "Sunrise Mass" and "Dark Night of the Soul."

Jonathan will be singing the "National Anthem" and "God Bless America" for our local MLB team. Should be fun! Even Sarah said she'd come see a baseball game for this.
